We are delighted to announce the renewal and expansion of our partnership with Nature Valley to include all 33 US Resorts! Under this partnership renewal they will remain the official granola bar partner of Vail Resorts through the next two years. Through Nature Valley’samazing bar sampling program at all our resorts and hospitality properties our guests can always look forward to a delicious snack before or after a day on the hill.

CIBC and Whistler Blackcomb have extended their long-standing partnership for an additional 2 years as the official Bank of Whistler Blackcomb. This partnership continues to support the local community in Whistler and in addition create meaningful activations that deliver on CIBC’s purpose of ‘Ambitions Made Real’.

We are thrilled to welcome Toyota to our partnership family as our Mobility Partner at all of thirty three of our U.S. resorts.  Toyota will provide best-in-class activities that enhance how guests experience the mountains, including debut of the Toyota Banked Slalom course at Breckenridge, grand opening of the Trail's End Treats at Vail, enhancements to the Toyota Race Center at Beaver Creek, new terrain park features at Northstar, Mount Snow and Park City and new bike park features at Crested Butte and Northstar. Off the slopes, we’ve partnered together on the complimentary courtesy vehicle service at 20 properties—a convenient valet service that transports lodging guests around town and to nearby trails, making sure they arrive to and from their adventures safely. 

With The North Face Valley to Peak race being postponed for 2021, we decided to take a new approach to accommodate the safety guidelines around the pandemic. TNF and Whistler Blackcomb partnered with Trail Forks to challenge guests to complete the Blackcomb Ascent Trail during the month of August and record their times via Trail Forks app. Participation prizes were provided to anyone who completed the challenge as well as a TNF prize package valued at $800 for the fastest male, female and most over attempts. 239 people completed the challenge with one person attempting the trail 22 times during the month. The campaign gained 175k impressions and over 320k reach via social media.

With the recent discoveries across Canada, Whistler decided to take a different approach to the usual Canada Day celebrations. In partnership with The Squamish Lil’Wat Cultural Centre the goal was to learn and reflect this year. CIBC supported with free admission to the SLCC July 1-3 which resulted in over 1,200 visits.

Oakley Week returns to Vail from December 9th-13th and there will be plenty of activities to take advantage of. For four days, the worlds of sport, culture, music, art and incredible experiences collide, as snow-goers take an opportunity to immerse and express themselves on and off the slopes.

Breckenridge and Toyota teamed up to build the Toyota Banked Slalom course on Peak 8. Debuting this season, the course will allow skiers and riders to experience XX banked turns and challenge their friends or family to friendly competition. Come check it out in Breck! 

Last year, Helly Hansen funded the expansion of the deck at Henry’s Hut to create a cohesive space for families by connecting Buffalo, Roadhouse and Patrol Headquarters at Vail. This space will surely become families’ favorite spot to refuel on-mountain while learning about Vail Mountain’s first patrol dog, Henry, and his incredible legacy. Every Sunday starting in January 2022, Helly Hansen invites guests to grab an early lunch and “Dine with the Dogs”. On the menu: avalanche dog training, rescue drills and Q&As with the Vail Ski Patrol. Thanks to Helly Hansen for empowering Vail to keep Henry’s legacy alive!
