Epic Friend Tickets replace former “Buddy” / “Ski With a Friend” benefits for Epic Pass holders. They allow Epic pass holders to gift friends or family a 50% discount off the walk-up rate at eligible resorts that can be used in season. Lift tickets are refundable. Review the resort’s policy before buying.

Single-day tickets offer access only for a specific day, while multi-day passes let you ski consecutive days at lower rates. Check the resort site for full details on lift usage. Multi-day ski lift tickets often include resort discounts.


To skip the ticket window lines at Epic Pass resorts, activate your Mobile Pass / Mobile Lift Ticket in the My Epic app. Your phone (via Bluetooth scan) gets you direct-to-lift — no window stop required. Tickets and passes purchased in advance show in the Pass & Tickets section of the My Epic app. A physical RFID card is still available if you prefer.

  • Epic Day Pass: The best value for 1–7 days of lift access, the Epic Day Pass is available before the season and can save you up to 65% versus buying individual lift tickets. Think of it as a flexible punch card for daily lift access — plus it includes pass-holder benefits like extra savings on food, lodging, lessons, and rentals.
  • Lift Ticket: A ticket for lift access on a specific pre-selected date (or dates). Lift tickets typically cost more when bought last-minute or at the window, but they allow you to purchase in-season after passes go off sale.
