We make ski holidays fun for the whole family with child care services at all of our ski resorts in California and Colorado. You can hit the slopes knowing your children are comfortable and having a blast at any of our quality child care centers.

The Small World Nursery at Vail Ski Resort provides professional care for children aged 2 months to 6 years. Kids will have a terrific time in our colorful child care centers while you’re having fun out on the mountain. Our program features age-appropriate activities and separate playrooms for infants (2- 15 months), toddlers (16- 29 months) and preschoolers (30 months- 6 years.)

Hours
The nursery at Golden Peak is open 7 days a week for the winter season, November 18, 2011 - April 15, 2012. Hours of the nursery are 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Food & Naps
All of our ski holiday child care programs provide nutritious snacks and lunches for children over 12 months. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring a lunch and snack for them. For rest time, the Children’s Center provides cribs (for infant program only) and cots, mats and blankets.

The Beaver Creek Small World Play School’s exclusive program gives children ages 2 months to 6 years old the opportunity to enjoy their very own vacation in a fun, supportive environment at Beaver Creek Ski Resort. We offer a range of play and ski programs run by a dedicated professional staff especially adept at helping children pursue their interests and strengthen their abilities. Operated by Vail Resorts, the Small World Play School meets or exceeds the standards set by the Colorado Department of Human Services for ski area child care facilities.

Infants
Infants 2 to 16 months old get lots of tender loving care while you get in a run (or two) on our spectacular mountain. With one caregiver to every three infants, you can tackle the slopes with the comfort of knowing your little ones are getting lots of individual attention.

 

Toddlers
Beaver Creek’s toddler program is big fun with lots of supervision. Toddlers ages 16 to 29 months will be well-entertained with a range of age-appropriate activities, including music, art, and small and large motor play. With one caregiver for every five children, your toddler is guaranteed to get lots of attention.

 

Preschoolers
Get in touch with your inner child on the slopes while your kids aged 30 months to 6 years have big time fun of their own. One caregiver to every eight children ensures your little ones are well taken care of while you explore Beaver Creek’s majestic terrain. With our age-appropriate program featuring interest centers, music, art, circle time, outdoor play and rest time with a video, it’s a tough call who will have more fun: you or the kids!

Breckenridge Child Care entertains the youngest members of your family with fun-filled activities both inside and in the great outdoors. Our slope-side centers provide individualized care for your infant, toddler or pre-schooler under the watchful eyes of our trained staff. Reservations required.

Peak 8 Children’s Center

Located at the Peak 8 base area behind the top Gondola terminal in Breckenridge Ski Resort. The center has four classrooms for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years old. This center is open year round.

 

Village Child Care

Located in the Village Plaza near the Quicksilver chairlift. The center has three classrooms for children ages 8 weeks to 5 years old. This center is open daily during the winter season only.

Beaver Run Child Care Center

Located next to Beaver Run Resort and the Beaver Run Superchair. The center has two classrooms for infants and toddlers ages 8 weeks to 3 years old. This center is open daily during the winter season only.

 

 

 

 

Programs
Each center accommodates children ages 8 weeks to 3 years old. The Peak 8 Child Care and The Village Child Care also offer programs for 3-5 year olds. All centers are professionally staffed and our lead teachers are trained in CPR and First-Aid, have training in developmentally appropriate practices, and have prior experience in childcare. As a result, our qualified staff members provide a program of appropriate and fun-filled activities and projects throughout the day. Outside playtime is also a priority and we strive to take each child (over 12mo.) outdoors each day. Please note that outside playtime may vary depending on weather conditions and nap schedules.

 

Food & Naps
Our classrooms are peanut-free and all of our programs include healthy lunches, snacks, and juice or milk for children over 12 months. Sippy cups are also provided by the center. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring a nut-free lunch and snack for your child. For naptime, we provide blankets for the children as well as cots, cribs, or mats depending on the classroom.

Child Care Programs
While you run wild on the slopes, let your little ones do the same at the Children’s center. Each child gets the care and attention they need with small group sizes and separate programs for infants (2 to 15 months), toddlers (16 to 35 months) and Play School (3 to 6 years). Our program includes age-appropriate toys, games, art projects and an hour of snow play in the morning for the toddler and play school programs.

Canyons Little Adventure Childcare Center is a state-licensed facility that provides fun, age-appropriate activities for children from six weeks to six years of age. Located inside Grand Summit Hotel, let us help you carve out some time for you to enjoy your ski vacation, knowing your little ones are having just as much fun.

Little Adventures Childcare Center

Whether they are an infant, a toddler or a preschooler, your little one will be swaddled in the care of our state-licensed caregiving team. We plan a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, plus nap time, snack time and meals depending on the length of program.  Don’t forget to bring a special blanket or sleep toy for your little ones to snuggle up with during nap time.

The Heavenly Child Care Center provides a variety of play and ski programs dedicated to helping children build on their strengths, interests and emerging abilities in a rich, stimulating and supportive environment. Located at the California Lodge at Heavenly Ski Resort, our center provides high-quality child care for children ages 6-weeks through 6-years old. The center is licensed by the state of California and meets or exceeds all state licensing regulations.

Child Care Program

Our Child care program lets parents enjoy their ski holiday while providing child care full of age-appropriate play activities, including art, dramatic play, science, music and movement, circle time, small manipulatives, puppet play, storytelling, and of course, outdoor adventure time.

 

Ski/Play Program

Designed for children aged three to four, the Ski/Play Program offers a one-hour ski clinic for small playgroups of three to four children. This unique program takes the children on a visit to the Enchanted Forest, while introducing them to their skis and the sliding movement. The program prides itself on building kids’ self-esteem and a lifelong love of skiing.

 

Half & Half Program

The Half & Half Program is designed for children aged four to five who aren't quite ready for a whole day of skiing, but still want to have fun on the slopes. The program features a two-hour morning ski clinic followed by lunch and afternoon playtime.

 

Nanny for a Day Program

Enjoy the peace of mind of having one caregiver accompany your child during the day in any of our programs. This specialized care option lets your child play in a group setting while receiving the individual attention of a qualified early childhood educator.

Northstar California, recognized as a top family resort, offers Minors' Camp licensed child care and outdoor play for non-skiing children ages 2-6.*  Don't worry about your child being potty-trained because at Minor's Camp, they don't need to be.  Minors' Camp will keep the little ones busy all day long with lots of fun activities, so they won't miss their parents for a second.

Location
Minors' Camp is located at the Northstar Golf Course clubhouse at Northstar Ski Resort with parking just steps away from the facility.

Infants
We provide child care for toddlers 24 months or older.
 
Toddlers
Toddlers 24 months or older must have had their 2nd birthday before their first day of child care.  All children under the age of 3 must bring a copy of their birth certificate or passport.

What to Bring
• Please bring waterproof pants, waterproof jacket, hat, mittens, sun glasses, sun screen, an extra change of indoor clothes, and diapers/pull-ups (if your child is not toilet trained).
• Please mark and label all of your child’s belongings.
• Please note that Minors’ Camp is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• Please bring/carry a cell phone with you while your child is in our care, so that we may be able to contact you as needed.

Food & Naps
Our all day program include a morning snack, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack. Our morning only programs include a morning snack and a hot lunch. Minors’ Camp is a “peanut free” child care facility, but if your child has special dietary restrictions, just let us know. And, all children enrolled in the full day program are provided a blanket and resting mat in a quiet place, but if your child has a special blanket or stuffed animal for resting, we encourage you to bring them.
