The Small World Nursery provides professional care for children aged 2 months to 6 years. Kids will have a terrific time in our colorful child care centers while you’re having fun out on the mountain. All of our ski holiday child care programs provide nutritious snacks and lunches for children over 12 months. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring a lunch and snack for them. For rest time, the Children’s Center provides cribs (for infant program only) and cots, mats and blankets.

The Beaver Creek Small World Play School’s exclusive program gives children ages 2 months to 6 years old the opportunity to enjoy their very own vacation in a fun, supportive environment. We offer a range of play and ski programs run by a dedicated professional staff especially adept at helping children pursue their interests and strengthen their abilities. Operated by Vail Resorts, the Small World Play School meets or exceeds the standards set by the Colorado Department of Human Services for ski area child care facilities.  Make your reservations now

Infants
Infants 2 to 16 months old get lots of tender loving care while you get in a run (or two) on our spectacular mountain. With one caregiver to every three infants, you can tackle the slopes with the comfort of knowing your little ones are getting lots of individual attention.

Toddlers
Beaver Creek’s toddler program is big fun with lots of supervision. Toddlers ages 16 to 29 months will be well-entertained with a range of age-appropriate activities, including music, art, and small and large motor play. With one caregiver for every five children, your toddler is guaranteed to get lots of attention.

Preschoolers
Get in touch with your inner child on the slopes while your kids aged 30 months to 6 years have big time fun of their own. One caregiver to every eight children ensures your little ones are well taken care of while you explore Beaver Creek’s majestic terrain. With our age-appropriate program featuring interest centers, music, art, circle time, outdoor play and rest time with a video, it’s a tough call who will have more fun: you or the kids!

Breckenridge has two children's centers to entertain the youngest members of your family with fun-filled activities both inside and in the great outdoors. Our slope-side nurseries provide individualized care for your infant, toddler or pre-schooler under the watchful eyes of our trained staff.

Peak 8 Children’s Center

The Peak 8 Children’s Center is located on Ski Hill Road at the base of Peak 8 just above the main plaza. Reservations required. For more information, call (970) 453-3258.

Village Child Care

The Village Child Care Center is located at Peak 9 in the Village at Breckenridge. The center is below the Quicksilver Chairlift on the Maggie Pond Level, next to the children’s ski schools. Programs
Each center accommodates children ages 8 weeks to 5 years old and is professionally staffed. All of our lead teachers have prior child care experience and are trained in CPR, first-aid and developmentally appropriate practices. In order to provide the best care, we separate the children based on age and development. The caregiver ratio in each of the classrooms complies with the Colorado State Child Care Facility Licensing standards.

Food & Naps
Our classrooms are peanut-free and both the half-day and full-day programs include healthy lunches, snacks, and juice or milk for children over 12 months. Sippy cups are also provided by the center. If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please bring a nut-free lunch and snack for your child. For naptime, we provide blankets for the children as well as cots, cribs or mats.

The state-of-the-art Keystone Children’s Center provides a variety of seasonal child care programs to help you make the most out of your ski holiday. Our trained staff ensures that each child gets personalized care and enjoys creative activities throughout the day. Children’s Daycare Programs
While you run wild on the slopes, let your little ones do the same at the Children’s center. Each child gets the care and attention they need with small group sizes and separate programs for infants (2 to 15 months), toddlers (16 to 35 months) and Play School (3 to 6 years). Our program includes age-appropriate toys, games, art projects and an hour of snow play in the morning for the toddler and play school programs.

Nanny One-on-One

The Heavenly Day Care Center provides a variety of play and ski programs dedicated to helping children build on their strengths, interests and emerging abilities in a rich, stimulating and supportive environment. Located at the California Lodge, our center provides high-quality child care for children ages 6-weeks through 6-years old. The center is licensed by the state of California and meets or exceeds all state licensing regulations.

Day Care Program

Our day care program lets parents enjoy their ski holiday while providing child care full of age-appropriate play activities, including art, dramatic play, science, music and movement, circle time, small manipulatives, puppet play, storytelling, and of course, outdoor adventure time.

Ski/Play Program

Designed for children aged three to four, the Ski/Play Program offers a one-hour ski clinic for small playgroups of three to four children. This unique program takes the children on a visit to the Enchanted Forest, while introducing them to their skis and the sliding movement. The program prides itself on building kids’ self-esteem and a lifelong love of skiing.

Half & Half Program

The Half & Half Program is designed for children aged four to five who aren't quite ready for a whole day of skiing, but still want to have fun on the slopes. The program features a two-hour morning ski clinic followed by lunch and afternoon playtime.

Nanny for a Day Program

Enjoy the peace of mind of having one caregiver accompany your child during the day in any of our programs. This specialized care option lets your child play in a group setting while receiving the individual attention of a qualified early childhood educator.
