Live with Lindsey

Kids: Here’s your chance to be an Epic Kids Reporter for the first-ever “Live with Lindsey” online show. Ask for your parents help in recording a video question to Lindsey and then submit your video on the Lindsey Is Epic YouTube page by midnight on Nov. 17th - MST.  Win a FREE Child Epic Season Pass is your video is chosen!

Here's the Details:

1.  Shoot your video.  Video should be about 30 seconds in length, but no more than 60 seconds. The video should include: 

• Name (first name only)
• Age
• Where you are from
• Your Question for Lindsey

2.  Upload your video to the Lindsey Is Epic Youtube account

3.  Become a fan of Lindsey is Epic Fan Page on Facebook .  *Note - parents must have an active Facebook Account to become of fan of Lindsey is Epic Fan Page.

4.  Have your parents post a Facebook Status Message on the Lindsey is Epic Facebook Fan Page with a link to your YouTube Video.  Message should be something like this: “My daughter just posted a video question for “Epic Kids Live with Lindsey Vonn” scheduled to stream online on November 20th at 5:00 PM - add your YouTube video link here" 

*Please note - in order to be entered into this contest, you are required to post a message to Lindsey is Epic Facebook Fan Page with a link to your YouTube video.  This is only way we have to notifiy you if your child's video is chosen.

5.  Tune in on November 20th at 5:00 PM to see if your question is chosen .

**Parents Note - if you child's video is chosen, you will be notified via Facebook and will be required to provide parental consent to use your child's video.

1.  You and your parent will need post your written question to Lindsey on Lindsey's Facebook Fan Page between now and the event on November 20th at 5:00 PM MT.  If you would like to ask you question during the event, you can do so through the Livestream interface located on this page.

2.  Your question should include:

LINDSEY LIVE
EVENT RULES

1.  WHAT IS THE LINDSEY LIVE EVENT?

Vail Resorts is hosting an interactive live interview with Lindsey Vonn on November 20th, 2009.  The live interview will be available for viewing at www.lindseyisepic.com/live, beginning at 5:00 PM.  (the “Event”).  Kids under the age of 18 years will have the opportunity to ask Lindsey videotaped or written questions directly during the Event.  Vail Resorts will choose a small number of the best questions submitted to ask Lindsey during the Event.  If your child’s question is chosen, you will win a Child’s Epic Season Pass for the 2009-2010 ski season.

2.   WHO CAN SUBMIT QUESTIONS?

Kids under 18 years of age, whose parents consent to their submission, may submit a video tape question or written question subject to the terms of these rules (“Questions”).  If parents are employees of Vail Resorts or its affiliates, the child may submit a Question, but the child will not be eligible to win a Children’s Epic Season Pass.

2.  HOW DOES MY CHILD ENTER VIA VIDEO SUBMISSION?    
 
a.  Upload a videotape of your child’s Question at the Vail Resorts’ “Lindsey Is Epic” channel on the YouTube™ website at www. youtube.com/user/LindseyIsEpic. (a “Question”).   Your child’s Question must be sixty seconds or less.   All Questions must be submitted before 12 a.m. midnight Mountain Standard Time on November 17, 2009.  Each child is limited to one Question.   When submitting a Question, you will be required to give the child’s first name, age, and hometown. 

b.   Go to the Vail Resorts’ Lindsey is Epic fan page on Facebook™ at www.facebook.com/pages/Lindsey-Is-Epic/133650817017?ref=ts to notify us that you have submitted your Question.  Notify us by posting a message on the Lindsey is Epic fan page including a link to your YouTube video. 

 c.  Watch the Lindsey Live Event at 5:00 PM November 20, 2009  at www.lindseyisepic.com/live.  If your Question is used during the live Event, you will win a 2009-2010 Child’s Epic Season Pass.

3.  HOW DOES MY CHILD ENTER VIA WRITTEN SUBMISSION?

a.  Write your child's Question within the Wall Section at the Vail Resorts' "Lindsey is Epic" Fan Page on Facebook™ Fan Page at www.facebook.com/home.php#/pages/Lindsey-Is-Epic/133650817017?ref=ts.

b.  All Questions must be submitted before 5:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time on November 20, 2009 to the Vail Resorts' "Lindsey is Epic" Fan Page on Facebook™ Fan Page  .  Each Child is limited to one Question.  When submitting a Question, you will be required to give the child's first name, age, hometown.

c.  Questions may still be submitted during the Event (November 20, 2009 at 5:00 p. m.) via the Livestream Interface on www.lindseyisepic.com/live.


3.  HOW ARE QUESTIONS CHOSEN?

Vail Resorts will choose the best Questions from among the Questions submitted in accordance with section 2 of these rules.  Questions will be chosen on the basis of creativity, presentation, humor, and other similar factors as decided at Vail Resorts’ sole discretion.  Vail Resorts will choose between five and ten questions to ask at the Event.   Vail Resorts retains the right to modify the number of Questions chosen depending on the circumstances of the Event. 

5.  WHAT IF MY CHILD’S QUESTION IS CHOSEN?

If Vail Resorts chooses your child’s question to ask during the Lindsey Live Event on November 20th, your child will receive a free Children’s Epic Season Pass valid for the 2009-2010 ski season.  For details about the Children’s Epic Pass, go to www.epicpass.com.  Parent’s will be required to fill out and sign a Vail Resorts’ Season Pass Application and Release of Liability form prior to receiving the Children’s Epic Season Pass. .

6.  OWNERSHIP.  All materials submitted as Questions in the Contest will become the property of Vail Resorts.  Video of Questions that are not chosen will not be returned.

7. CHOICE OF LAW.  ENTRANTS CONTRACTUALLY AGREE that ANY AND ALL CLAIMS for damages, injury and/or death regarding an alleged incident, including but not limited to all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Vail Resorts in connection with the Giveaway, shall be GOVERNED BY COLORADO LAW and EXCLUSIVE JURISDICTION shall be in the District Court for the State of Colorado or in Federal Court for the State of Colorado.

8.     PRIVACY.  Vail Resorts will collect only the information required to collect Questions submitted and to communicate with you about your child’s submission.  If a parent does not want their child to participate in the Event, the parent can send an email to testimonials@vailresorts.com expressing their desire to have their child’s Question withdrawn.  If parent sends such a request, Sponsor will delete the child’s Question and will delete any corresponding information collected from the child or parent related to the child’s Question (such as email address and name).
