What time do you report your snow totals?

Vail:
Vail checks the official snow stake before 5 a.m., usually sometime between 4:45 and 5 a.m. MT. The average # on the stake is recorded into our database which then automatically delivers this # to our websites, our email system and to third party websites.

Beaver Creek:
Beaver Creek’s 24/7 communications center team checks the official snow stake before 5 a.m., usually sometime between 4:45 and 5 a.m. MT. The average accumulation on the stake is recorded into our database which then automatically delivers this inch total to our websites, our email system and to third party websites. Beaver Creek Ski Patrol confirms this total when they arrive, usually around 7am.

Breckenridge:
Before 5:00am. Usually the ski patroller calls the Vail Resorts Communications Center between 4:45am and 5:00am. The amount of snow at the stake is recorded into our database which is then automatically delivered to the websites, email system, text message system, and third party websites like OpenSnow.com and OnTheSnow.com.

Keystone:
Before 5 a.m., usually sometime between 4:45 and 5 a.m. MT. The average # on the stake is recorded into our database which then automatically delivers this # to our websites, our email system and to third party websites.

Park City:
Park City checks the official snow stake at 5:40 a.m. every morning. The number on the stake is recorded into our database which we deliver to our website, email system, to third party websites, and many other snow reporting outlets. We report the afternoon snow total at 4:00 p.m.

Heavenly:
Heavenly checks the Dipper Express official snow stake at 5:00 a.m. every morning. The number on the stake is recorded into our database which we deliver to our website, email system, to third party websites, and many other snow reporting outlets.

Northstar:
Snowfall amounts are reported from the official snow stake before 5 a.m., usually sometime between 4:45 and 5 a.m. Pacific Time. The number on the stake is recorded into our database which then automatically delivers this number to our websites, our email system and to third party websites.

The official stake is read again at 4 p.m. to track overnight snowfall amounts. These overnight amounts are included in the next day’s report, along with the 24 hour amounts.

Kirkwood:
Kirkwood checks the official snow stake before 5 a.m., usually sometime between 4:45 and 5 a.m. PST.  The average # on the stake is recorded into our database which then automatically delivers this # to our websites, our email system and to third party websites.
