It's been a busy summer preparing our world-class mountain for the winter! For the past few months our snowmaking team has been working to install 24 fully automated snowmaking guns on Gold Dust to refresh the snow surface throughout the season. Our lift operations team has also been busy working with Doppelmayr to build and install our new Centennial Express combination lift which will transport guests with 6-person chairs and alternating 10-person gondola cabins. And let’s not forget about the biggest event of the season - the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships starting February 2nd through 15th. Multiple teams have been working on the grand stands and venue additions to Red Tail Stadium which will be ready for the annual Birds of Prey World Cup event in early December.
