Skadi Vail, December 14-16
Inspired by the Norse goddess of winter, Vail Mountain will
host the second annual Skadi Vail this December 14-16, 2016.
Female skiers will be treated to the largest women’s-specific ski equipment
demo experience in the country, yoga, wine and cheese tastings, customized
on-mountain guided experiences with female instructors, the ski film viewing
of, “Between”, a Red Bull Media House production, and more. United by a passion
for skiing and the outdoors, Skadi Fest is about the full experience, both on-
and off-mountain, and is an event designed by women for women offered for any

Dew Tour, December 8-11
The Dew Tour will be returning to Breckenridge, Colorado with a newly revamped winter ski and snowboard competition on December 8 – 11, 2016. The second stop of this year’s Dew Tour brings a re-imagined vision of action sports competition to the resort and town with world-class winter athletes competing in both men’s and women’s individual competitions and a new team challenge.
Ullr Fest, January 11-14
Ullr Fest celebrates 54 years this Jan. 11-14, 2017 and Breckenridge invites snow lovers of all ages to join the party. During Ullr Fest in Breckenridge, don’t be surprised to see horned Viking hats adorning the heads of skiers and snowboarders, Ullympic competitors flinging frying pans for prizes, more than 12,000 Ullr enthusiasts filling the streets for the Ullr Parade and crazy float participants skiing off jumps on Main Street or gliding along town in a hot tub. Join us to rejoice with Ullr himself. Ullr is ready for a good party. In Norse mythology Ullr (pronounced Oool-er) was the winter god. He was the son of Sif and the stepson of Thor, the "God of Thunder." Ullr loved the cold, and delighted in traveling over the country on his skis or skates. He also delighted in the chase, and pursued his game through the Northern Forests.
WinterFest, December 17 - 31
Beaver Creek Loves Kids 6th Annual WinterFest is back! Celebrate the season with performances, activities, WinterFest characters, parades, contests, holiday lights and more! Activities occur each day on the Village Plaza during après ski hours – join us for excitement in the Village after a day of excitement on the slopes. All WinterFest activities are free and fun for “kids” of all ages!

Family Ski Month, December 1 - 23

Chocolate Village, December 20 - January 8
A yearly favorite, be sure not to miss this delicious homemade creation from Keystone Resort’s Pastry Chef Ned Archibald. This handcrafted holiday tradition features 7,000 pounds of chocolate crafted into a miniature alpine village, a working chocolate gondola, a cascading chocolate waterfall, 6 foot tall white chocolate Christmas tree with chocolate presents. This mouth watering creation gets a special new addition every year.
