Vail Resorts Management Company (“Vail Resorts”) and Las Leñas Ski Resort in Argentina (“Las Leñas”) are offering the Epic™ is Endless skiing promotion (the “Promotion”) pursuant to a joint marketing agreement. Each holder of an Epic™ Season Ski Pass (an “Epic Pass”) or a Vail Employee Ski Pass (an “Employee Pass”, and together with the Epic Pass, the “Ski Pass”) will receive free skiing at Las Leñas when the Ski Pass holder stays at the Piscis Hotel, Escorpio Hotel, Aries Hotel, Villa Capricornio, or Acuario Hotel. The Promotion is open to all Ski Pass holders, except those who permanent residents of Brazil or Argentina, and is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and restrictions described below.
INDIVIDUAL ELIGIBILITY. In order to be eligible for the Promotion, an individual must:
-Be a holder of a 2010/2011 or 2011/2012 Epic Pass or an Employee Pass at the time of the hotel reservation and at the time of the hotel stay;
-Be in compliance with all of the terms or conditions of the Ski Pass at the time of the reservation and at the time of the hotel stay;
-Book the hotel reservation in strict compliance with the Reservation Process (defined below);
-Stay in the Qualifying Hotel (defined below) for the number of nights reserved;
-Be in compliance with all of the rules and regulations of the Qualifying Hotel throughout the stay; and
-Not maintain a permanent place of residence in Brazil or Argentina.
Each individual who meets all of the eligibility requirements above is a “Qualified Individual.”
RESERVATION PROCESS. Qualified Individuals must strictly comply with the following hotel reservation process (the “Reservation Process”):
-The reservation must be made at one of the following hotels: Piscis Hotel, Escorpio Hotel, Aries Hotel, Villa Capricornio, or Acuario Hotel (each, a “Qualifying Hotel”).
-The reservation must be made through Las Leñas by calling +5411.4819.6010 (U.S. callers dial 0115411 4819 6010) or emailing booking@laslenas.com. Reservations also may be made through travel partners designated on the the Epic™ is Endless webpage.
-The Qualified Individual must provide the following information to the reservation agent: (a) complete name; (b) contact information; (c) Ski Pass number; (d) government issued identification number; and (e) country of residence.
-The Qualified Individual must pre-pay for the entire hotel stay within 48 hours after making the reservation.
-The Qualified Individual must present their Epic Pass to the hotel’s registration clerk upon check in at the Qualifying Hotel.
An individual who makes a reservation at a Qualifying Hotel though any process other than the Reservation Process will not be eligible for the Promotion.
SKI SEASON ELIGIBILITY. Las Leñas’ ski season generally runs from June – October. The ski season(s) during which Qualified Individuals can take advantage of the Promotion are as follows:
-Qualified Individuals who hold a 2010/2011 Epic Pass, but have not renewed same, will be eligible for the Promotion during Las Leñas’ 2011 ski season only.
-Qualified Individuals who either renew their 2010/2011 Epic Pass or purchase a new 2011/2012 Epic Pass will be eligible for the Promotion during Las Leñas’ 2011 ski season.
-Qualified Individuals who hold an Employee Pass at the time of their Las Leñas reservation and visit will be eligible for the Promotion during Las Leñas’ 2011 ski season.
DAYS OF FREE SKIING. Each Qualified Individual will receive one free day of skiing at Las Leñas for each night the Qualified Individual stays in a Qualifying Hotel booked in compliance with the Reservation Process. There are no blackout dates for the free skiing, however availability is based on hotel room availability. Qualified Individuals will be subject to the rules and regulations applicable to all skiers at Las Leñas, which may include a requirement that the Qualified Individuals sign a release of liability prior to engaging in any activity on the ski area. The ski area includes any on-piste and off-piste terrain that Las Leñas deems acceptable.
OTHER PROMOTION TERMS & RESTRICTIONS. Reservations for rooms in Qualifying Hotels are subject to availability and must be made prior to arrival in Las Leñas. Pre-payment of reservations are required to be made and/or processed in the currency of Argentina. International fees may apply. Promotion may be changed or cancelled without notice. If the Promotion is cancelled, Las Leñas will extend the Promotion to Qualified Individuals who made reservations in accordance with the Reservation Process prior to the effective date of such cancellation. This Promotion is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
NO RELATIONSHIP. Beyond the joint marketing agreement, no relationship or affiliation exists among Vail Resorts and its affiliates and Las Leñas and its affiliates. Las Leñas and its affiliates are solely responsible for the operation and management of the Las Leñas Ski Resort and the Qualifying Hotels (collectively, the “Las Leñas Property”). Customer acknowledges that Vail Resorts does not own or operate the Las Leñas Ski Resort and that further acknowledges that skiing/snowboarding at any resort involves risks and dangers inherent to the sport of skiing/snowboarding.
