Las Leñas is located in Argentina in South America. The Valle de Las Leñas is situated on the North–South point of the Cordillera de Los Andes, inside the department of Malargüe, in Mendozas province.
How do you get there?
There are multiple departures from many main international airports around the world with services to Buenos Aires, Argentina. From Buenos Aires, there is a direct flight departing from Jorge Newbery Airport and arriving to Malargue Airport. The flight takes approximately 1.5 hours. From there, take the 1 hour bus transfer from the airport to Las Leñas Valley. It is also possible to take a scheduled flight to San Rafael (300km away) and travel overland to Las Leñas.
Does Las Leñas have a ski & snowboard school?
Yes. The Snowsports School offers group and private lessons for all levels and ages of skiers and snowboarders with over 150 instructors. Additionally, there is an expert instructor group dedicated to back country skiing and guided off-piste tours.
