            5th and 6th Grade School of Shred Program
 
The 2012/2013 School of Shred Pass will be available starting August 30th, 2012. The 12/13 School of Shred program provides 4 FREE days of skiing or riding at each of the state’s top-ranked resorts Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin for all Colorado fifth and sixth grade students who register. The School of Shred pass also includes one complimentary first-timer ski lesson and rental equipment for pass holders (Arapahoe Basin excluded). Lessons and rentals are provided from 11/26/12-12/16/12, as well as during the entire month of January 2013 as a part of “Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month”.
 
How To Get Your Pass
• Bring your 5th or 6th grade report card to a Front Range location, Resort Season Pass Office or visit any Special Event.
• Get your photo taken.
• Your free first-timer lesson and rental are automatically loaded on your pass. Visit Ski School when you're ready to redeem.
• Go home with your free pass! It’s that easy. Simply go directly to the lift on each day you plan to ski or ride.

You do not need to make an advanced reservation for the free first timer lesson & rental. Simply bring your School of Shred pass to the ski and snowboard school of your choice. For more information please call:

Q: WHAT IS SCHOOL OF SHRED?

Q: WHAT'S THE POINT?
Skiing should be a rite of passage for every child lucky enough to be raised in Colorado, and this program will help make that happen. The program also helps young people stay physically active during winter months.

Q: HOW OFTEN CAN 5TH AND 6TH GRADE SCHOOL OF SHRED PASS HOLDERS USE THEIR PASS?
The School of Shred pass provides 4 days of skiing or snowboarding at each of the state’s top-ranked resorts; Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin.

Q: WHERE MAY I OBTAIN A SCHOOL OF SHRED PASS?
Passes can be obtained at any Front Range or Resort season pass sales location or event.

Q: WHEN CAN I SIGN UP?
5th and 6th graders can register now thru November 18, 2012. A parent/guardian must be present when signing up.

Q: WILL YOU RUN OUT OF PASSES BEFORE I CAN SIGN UP?
No we want every 5th & 6th grader to have an opportunity to ski and ride for free this season.  However, the deadline to get this great offer is November 18, 2012.

Q: ONCE I HAVE MY PASS, HOW DO I USE IT?
Simply go directly to the lift on each day you plan to ski or ride.

Q: WHAT IF MY 5th OR 6TH GRADER DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO SKI OR SNOWBOARD? WHAT ABOUT EQUIPMENT?

Q: IF I DIDN'T PARTICIPATE IN THE 5TH GRADE SCHOOL OF SHRED PROGRAM LAST YEAR, CAN I STILL PARTICIPATE IN THE 6TH GREADE SCHOOL OF SHRED PROGRAM?
Absolutely! We would love for you to join us.

Q: ARE THERE ANY BLACKOUT DATES/RESTRICTIONS?
Not for the lift access. The lesson is only available from 11/27/12 – 12/17/12, as well as the entire month of January as a part of “Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month” though.

Q: HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO PROCESS THE PASS?
When you go to a Front Range or Resort Pass sales location or any special event you will go home with your new pass that very day.

Q: HOW DO I GET MY PASS?
