Which passes provide skiing and riding at Perisher?

1. Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits: AU$749

Unlimited access to Perisher in Australia – No Blackout Dates.  Now includes Epic Benefits of unlimited access to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City and Canyons in Utah;  Heavenly, Northstar and  Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe, California;  Afton Alps, Minnesota and  Mt. Brighton, Michigan.  Plus a total of 10 days at Vail and/or Beaver Creek, combined. All US Resort access subject to certain holiday restrictions.  

2. Epic Pass: US$769

Unlimited access to Perisher in Australia; Vail, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City and Canyons in Utah;  Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe, California;  Afton Alps, Minnesota and  Mt. Brighton, Michigan - No Blackout Dates. Available for Adult (ages 13+) and Child (aged 5-12.) Subject to the sale closing. Valid for 2015/2016 season Epic Pass only. Not valid for 2014/2015 season Epic Pass. 

3. 2015 Perisher Freedom Pass sold in 2014. 

Unlimited access to Perisher in Australia – No Blackout Dates.  Subject to the sale closing, will include Epic Benefits of unlimited access to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City and Canyons in Utah;  Heavenly, Northstar and  Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe, California;  Afton Alps, Minnesota and  Mt. Does my 2015/2016 season Epic Pass include access to Perisher?
Unfortunately, Perisher access in not included. To get access to Perisher, you must purchase a 2016/2017 season Epic Pass. 

What dates do “holiday restrictions” include?
*Holiday restricted dates are: 25 November 2016 – 26 November 2016, 26 December 2016 – 31 December 2016, 14 January 2017, and 18 February 2017 – 19 February 2017. 


Who qualifies for Student Passes?

Student Freedom Passes are only available to children between 5 and 14 years of age and students studying full time at a Secondary School during 2015.  A letter of enrolment from the Secondary School for students aged 15 to 17 years is required before the Student Freedom Pass will be made active.

At what date is my age determined?
For the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits, we determine your age range by using your age as of the scheduled opening day of the snow season, which in 2015 is Saturday 6 June.  For the Epic Pass, your age is determined based on the day your purchase the season pass.

Can I add-on Skitube access to my Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits?
Yes, Skitube add-on is available if purchased by 31 May 2015 for  AU$99 for Adults/Seniors and AU$49 for Students.

Will I need a new Perisher Card for the 2015 ski season?
No, your current card will work at Perisher.

I purchased my Perisher Freedom Pass between August – October 2014, do I get the Epic Benefits?
Upon closing of the acquisition, previous purchasers of the Perisher Freedom Pass will receive Epic Benefits.

How to use Perisher Freedom Pass Epic Benefits in the U.S.
Will my Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits card work at the US resorts?
No, all Perisher Freedom Pass holders with Epic Benefits will receive a new, separate, card that will provide you unlimited access to Breckenridge, Keystone and Arapahoe Basin in Colorado; Park City and Canyons in Utah;  Heavenly, Northstar and Kirkwood in Lake Tahoe, California;  Afton Alps, Minnesota and  Mt. Brighton, Michigan. Plus a total of 10 days at Vail and/or Beaver Creek, combined. All Resort access subject to certain holiday restrictions.

When will I receive my Epic Benefits card?
All purchasers of the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits will receive their Epic Benefits card prior to November 2015.  

Will I need to sign a new liability waiver to use my Epic Benefits in the U.S.?
You may be required to consent to Vail Resorts’ season pass terms and conditions to use your Epic Benefits.  More information will come in the mail with your Epic Benefits card.

Do I need to take my Epic Benefits card to the lift ticket window before I ski?
No, you will be able to go directly to the lift with your Epic Benefits card.

When are the U.S Resorts open for skiing and snowboarding?
The U.S. ski resorts typically open between mid-October and mid-November and close in mid-April, depending on snow conditions.  2015/2016 ski season opening and closing dates have not been announced.

Current 2015/2016 Vail Resorts Pass Holders
I am an Epic Pass holder, which Perisher Ski Season do I get access to?
Once the acquisition closes, Epic Pass holders who purchased and paid in full between 1 March 2015 and 31 May 2015 will receive access to Perisher’s 2015 ski season. Epic Pass holders who purchase on or after 1 June 2015 will receive access to Perisher’s 2016 ski season.  Epic Pass holders who purchase by putting $49 down, will receive Perisher access based on the date that you pay the remaining balance. 

Will my Epic Pass card work at Perisher?
No, all Epic Pass holders will need to visit the ticket window on their first visit to receive a card that will work at Perisher.  You will not receive a new Epic Pass card or separate Perisher card in the mail.

If I already purchased a Vail Resorts season pass which does not include Perisher, can I upgrade in order to receive it?

I already purchased the Perisher Freedom Pass and a Vail Resorts season pass, can I cancel one?
Yes, pending final closing of the acquisition we will refund the lower priced product.  Please note that your refund will not be processed until the acquisition is final.

If I purchased an Epic Pass or Epic Local Pass, can I exchange my pass for a Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits?
Yes, pending final closing of the acquisition.  To request to exchange passes, please call +1-303-504-5870 a Season Pass Expert will assist you. Please note that your exchange will not be processed until the acquisition is final.

Season Pass Benefits
Will my Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits come with the same benefits?
There are no changes to Perisher benefits at this time. 

What if I want to ski on restricted date at a U.S. resort on my Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits?
Purchasers of the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits can purchase a lift ticket on a restricted date at a U.S. resort for 50% off the daily rate.

Will my Epic Pass receive the same benefits as the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits?
Epic Pass holders will be entitled to the same benefits as the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits.  This includes special on-mountain discounts and First Tracks.  

Will First Tracks still be available to purchasers of the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits?
Yes, there is no change to First Tracks benefits.

Will Epic Pass holders be able to sign-up for First Tracks at Perisher?
Yes, Epic Pass holders will need to register at http://www.perisher.com.au/resort-activities/other-special-activities/first-tracks-mornings.html

Skiing at Perisher
Will night skiing and riding at Perisher cost extra?
Night skiing is included for no extra charge on the Perisher Freedom Pass and the Epic Pass. Night skiing is available Tuesdays (all season) and Saturdays (July & August).

When is the Perisher Ski Season?
Perisher 2015 ski season dates are Saturday, June 6 through Monday, October 5, 2015. Dates are subject to change.   

Will you keep all local kids ski and snowboard programs? 
There will be no changes to current programming. 

Will EpicMix be available at Perisher this year?
Perisher offers guests state-of-the-art RF technology through the innovative Perisher Dashboard, much like EpicMix, to track your accomplishments on the mountain and capture guests memories through Dashboard Pics. There is no foreseeable change to this, at this time.  

Season Pass Insurance or Pass Refund Protection
I purchased Pass Refund Protection for the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits, will I still be able to get a refund if needed?
Yes, there is no change to Pass Protection.  Please note that the Pass Protection only applies to the Perisher portion of the product – no refunds will be given after the Perisher 2015 ski season. 

If I purchase a Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits now, can I purchase Pass Refund Protection?
Yes, you will be able to purchase Pass Refund Protection for an additional AU$49 for Adults/Seniors and AU$29 for Students.

Are Epic Passes refundable?  Can I purchase Season Pass Insurance?
No, Epic Passes are not refundable or transferable.  However, pass holders can purchase season pass insurance in case of the unexpected.  Season Pass Insurance can be applied during your purchase of the Epic Pass.

Season Pass $49 Down or Pass Payments
When is the final payment for my Perisher Freedom Pass bought in 2014 due?
No changes are planned.  The balance payable will be charged on 4 May 2015 to the credit card used for the initial purchase.  The deposit, as well as the remaining balance is non-refundable. Multiple passes may be charged over multiple days starting on 4 May 2015. In the circumstance where, on 4 May 2015 your credit card payment is not completed, you will not be entitled to collect your Freedom Pass or have the access loaded to any existing Perisher Card.  In this event we will attempt to contact you to inform you that the credit card payment has been unsuccessful and to secure payment of the balance.

Must I pay in full for the Perisher Freedom Pass with Epic Benefits?
You can either pay in full or put $49 down with the remaining balance due 1 June 2015.

Can I split up the payments for an Epic Pass?
Yes, you can pay $49 down now and the balance will be charged in mid-September 2015.  However, Perisher access is determined based on when the Epic Pass is paid in full.  

If I put $49 down on an Epic Pass, can I ski at Perisher?
No, your Epic Pass must be paid in full by 31 May 2015 in order to ski at Perisher for the 2015 ski season.  If you pay the remaining balance after 31 May 2015, you will receive access to the 2016 Perisher ski season.
