Visiting Vail

 

  • Trail’s End Treats at Golden Peak
    • Open daily with the ideal winter time kids treats, offerings and a family friendly atmosphere, Trail's End Treats entices guests to begin and end their adventure in the Golden Peak base area. A picture perfect airstream being towed by a truck/SUV will anchor the space and be the hub for F&B service, while Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, bistro lighting and lawn games will create a welcoming slope-side gathering space for skiers of all abilities.
    • Join in on the Kid Après on selected elevated Saturdays starting in January. Check out the full schedule and all the signature events for the season.

Visiting Beaver Creek

  • Haymeadow Park
    • There's no better place for beginners to learn than Haymeadow Park, our dedicated learning area at the base of the resort. With a beginner-friendly gondola, gentle terrain, magic carpets, and on-mountain dining including The Ranch and Ice Cream Parlor, it's the best place to build up confidence and improve in a fun, safe environment.

  • Red Buffalo Park
    • Red Buffalo Park offers the ultimate on-mountain skiing experience for beginner and intermediate skiers, families, and ski school guests looking to discover new adventures while making unforgettable memories together. Explore snow sculptures, Kid's Adventure Zones and stunning views of the Gore Range from the top of the mountain at Red Buffalo Park.

  • McCoy Park
    • Debuting for the 2021-22 winter season, Beaver Creek Resort will add 250 new acres of lift-served, welcoming ski terrain for beginner and intermediate skiers to connect and elevate their mountain experience. McCoy Park is the resort's newest learning area and is a separate, family-friendly zone, allowing for a relaxed experience for families.

  • Spruce Saddle 
    • Offering handcrafted pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, house made soups & chili's, daily grilled items and more, Spruce Saddle raises the bar on mountain dining with scenic views of the Gore Range. Located at the top of Centennial™ Express Chairlift #6.
  • Mamie’s Mountain Grill and Umbrella Bar
    • Located at the top of Bachelor Gulch™ Express Chairlift #16, Mamie’s Mountain Grill allows you take in the views of McCoy Park™ while enjoying grilling choices like handcrafted Angus burgers, tasty Euro dogs and more. Dine on the sunny deck and experience the new European inspired Umbrella Bar.
  • Talons Restaurant
    • Situated at the picturesque base of Larkspur Bowl with panoramic views of Grouse Mountain and Birds of Prey. Talons serves a European-inspired menu, including a smokehouse during normal business hours.
  • Broken Arrow 
    • Specializing in handcrafted, fresh, and wholesome food choices, Broken Arrow features a large sunny deck and cozy dining room. Located in Arrowhead Village at the base of Arrow Bahn Express Lift #17

  • Cookie Time
    • Every afternoon at 3 o’clock, an unmistakable aroma sweeps the village. Chefs serve from heaping trays of warm, fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies: 495,000 cookies a year to be exact!

  • Candy Cabin
    • Located at the top of the Strawberry Park Express Lift and the Upper Beaver Creek Mountain Express lift, Candy Cabin offers delicious treats and beautiful, sweeping views. Children and adults alike can enjoy candy options ranging from classic gummies to locally produced artisan chocolates from 5th generation chocolatier Michael Mootz.

  • Ripperoo Sighting!
    • Stop by Ripperoo’s Retreat, located near the top of Gold Dust trail, and get an EpicMix Photo taken with everyone’s favorite ski mascot: Ripperoo!

Visiting Breckenridge

Breckenridge Ski Resort owned parking lots are managed daily by Breck Park. With Breck Park as our strategic partner we have the ability to offer all of our paid parking guests to pay via app, reserve preferred parking in any of our paid lots, and offer discount carpool codes for vehicles with 4 or more passengers.

Guest parking is available slope-side, in town an outside of town. We encourage carpooling with incentives at all paid lots. Four or more people in your vehicle? Receive a $5 carpool discount in any of our paid parking lots! Please locate the nearest guest service attendant for your coupon code.

*All prices are subject to change. Parking spaces are first-come, first served. Pass Holders are not guaranteed a parking space.

Access to Peaks 7 & 8

South Gondola Parking Structure, North Gondola Lot & Gold Rush Lot - Our most convenient and accessible in town parking

You can park here and pay using our many onsite kiosks or the smartphone app. You can also reserve your spot ahead of time. Daily rates apply and are subject to change. Hourly rates available after 2 pm. Easy access to Peak 7&8 via the Breck Connect Gondola and Peak 9 via the Black route and Yellow Route. No parking is permitted between the hours of 2am and 6am in our Gondola North, Gondola South, and Gold Rush lots.

Peak 7 & 8 Slope-side Parking

Stables Lot - Peak 7 & 8 Parking

Convenient covered parking within walking distance of both Peaks 7 & 8. You can park here and pay using our many onsite kiosks or the smartphone app. You can also reserve your spot ahead of time. Daily rates apply and are subject to change. Stables Lot parking is limited.

Access to Peak 9

Beaver Run Lot - Peak 9 slope-side parking

You can park here and pay using either an onsite kiosk or their smartphone app. You can also reserve your spot ahead of time. Daily rates apply and are subject to change. Hourly rates available after 2 p.m. No parking is permitted between the hours of 2 a.m.-6 a.m. in the Beaver Run lot.

Free Parking

Airport Lot (Free Parking)

Breckenridge Ski Resort is proud to offer free convenient parking just outside the center of town! Free transportation to the Breck Connect Gondola offering quick access to Peaks 7 & 8 or an easy transfer to the Black and Yellow route for access to Peak 9.

  • The bases of Peak 8 and Peak 9 
    • Laced with several wide, gentle trails, the bases of Peak 8 and 9 are perfect for families who are still learning or parents who want to help their children improve on the basics.

  • Frontier
    • The perfect run for beginners. It allows families to practice in a nice and relaxing atmosphere and leads to similar runs such as Ripperoo’s Village, Red Rover and Silverthorne.

Visiting Keystone

  • RIVER RUN GONDOLA LOT - FREE PARKING
    • Family Parking: Preferred upfront spots for families (traveling with kids 12 & under in the car), on a first-come, first-serve basis while available
    • Access to River Run Village and the Mountain via the River Run Gondola or Summit Express Lift
    • This lot typically fills up by 10am on weekends and holidays
    • No overnight parking allowed
  • MOUNTAIN HOUSE EAST - FREE PARKING
    • Day - Free, Overnight - $25
    • Family Parking: Preferred upfront spots for families (traveling with kids 12 & under in the car) on a first-come first-serve basis, while available
    • The closest free lot to the lifts! Access to the Mountain House Base Area and the mountain via the Peru Express Lift
    • No overnight camping allowed

  • River Run Gondola to Schoolmarm (The Family Ski Trail)
    • This beginner run allows for plenty of room for young skiers to get lots of turns plus great views. 

  • Kids adventure zones off of Schoolmarm
    • Keystone’s six Kids Adventure Zones, are designed to teach your little ones new skills and improve their confidence on the mountain. 

  • Scout and Endeavor Learning Areas
    • Scout and Endeavor are learning specific areas for beginner skiers of all ages. Utilize the “magic carpet” lift on Endeavor and, as skills advance, progress to the Ranger lift on Scout.
