Northstar California – The Way It Should Be.

Whether your ski vacations include carving corduroy, bashing through the bumps, sending it in the Superpipe or relaxing by the fire recounting memories of the day with family and friends, at Northstar there are unlimited opportunities to play, relax and spend quality time with people you love. The people who choose Northstar over other ski resorts in California know this. They know that everything they love about being here will still be here, and that something new will always be added to what’s familiar. So grab your gear, get your lift tickets and head over. When you’re at Northstar, your experience will be the way it should be.

From a self-titled "Timber Farm" to one of the finest year-round mountain resorts in North America, the story of Northstar began in the historic lumber town of Truckee, California.  The resort is now proud to be called home to North Lake Tahoe’s largest snowmaking system, seven award-winning terrain parks and superpipe, a base area village offering 35 specialty shops and restaurants, and the largest lift-served mountain bike park in northern California.
