California

Heavenly Ski Resort has no shortage of accommodations that bask in 300 days of legendary California sunshine a year. The Embassy Suites Resort sits at the base of the Heavenly Gondola and right next door to the gambling and nightlife in Nevada. Amenities include a year-round pool and spa, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast and an evening manager’s reception.

Revel in the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe at Tahoe Lakeshore Lodge and Spa, where every room is right on the lake. All rooms include a fireplace, balcony and lodgepole furniture. Best Western Station House Inn is just a block and a half from the lake and three blocks from the Heavenly Gondola and casinos.
