Heavenly Resort

The Perfect Blend of Night and Day

With more recreation and entertainment options than any other winter resort, you'll have plenty of choices at Heavenly. One of the largest ski resorts in the U.S., Heavenly boasts 4,800 acres of skiable terrain and a 3,500 foot vertical drop. Do you ski California or Nevada? Jaw-dropping views of America’s largest alpine lake or the beauty of the high Nevada desert? Will it be 34 miles of wide-open, groomed cruisers? The most outrageous tree skiing in North America? Or a thrill ride on the Heavenly Flyer, the longest zip line in the continental U.S.? When night falls, on-mountain exhilaration yields to après ecstasy with Vegas-style casinos, all-night dance clubs, world-class entertainment and five-star dining. So will it be Mother Nature? Lady Luck? A little of both? Choose wisely.

Straddling the border of California and Nevada, Heavenly boasts Tahoe’s highest resort peak, a formidable 360 inches of snowfall a year and a vertical rise unmatched on the West Coast. Add 34 miles of wide-open, groomed cruisers, double-black canyons with 1,600-foot plunges, four terrain parks and acres upon acres of powder-filled glades. This is what other mountains want to be when they grow up. This is Heavenly.

New at Heavenly

This season, Heavenly debuts a new trail in Powderbowl Woods on the California side and two new trails in Ski Ways Glades, a popular tree-skiing area located on the border of California and Nevada. We’re also re-grading Skyline Trail for easier and faster access to Nevada from the top of Sky Express in California. Never one to rest on our laurels, Heavenly is also expanding the West Coast’s largest snowmaking system onto Stagecoach run, increasing our snowmaking coverage to 70% of terrain.
