A trip to the Allegria Spa at Park Hyatt Beaver Creek includes an Aqua Sanitas water sanctuary and mountain waterfall.
If that’s not enough to spark relaxation, the spa is also home to a treatment fit for a king, or in this case a princess.
The Javanese Lulur experience, originally reserved for princesses, involves all of your senses, making it a true way to relax your whole body.
“Lulur is the tradition of preparing princesses in Java, Indonesia, for their wedding day,” says general manager Gaye Steinke.
“Traditionally it lasts 30 days. Here, you only get a couple hours, but it’s still an incredibly beautiful experience.
First, you’re scrubbed with a mix of ground-up rice, jasmine, and spices.
A honey-yogurt mixture is applied on top of that, and then you soak in a frangipani oil bath.
The final touch is a full body massage with jasmine-infused shea butter. The exotic mix of ingredients makes for an amazing mix of textures and smells.”
This experience will leave you feeling like royalty, at least for the day. $275 for 100 minutes. Learn more on Beaver Creek's spa directory.
