For Adults

From the Tahoe Learning Center to Expedition: Kirkwood, to our world-class women’s programs, Kirkwood’s Ski and Ride School is dedicated to advancing your skills, giving you access to this one-of-a-kind mountain. We offer both group and private lessons that are customizable with specific emphasis on terrain management and soft (and deep!) snow skills.

For Kids

Parents who enroll their kids in Kirkwood’s Ski and Ride School are advanced skiers who want their kids to be rippers, too. The Tahoe Learning Center at Kirkwood’s Timber Creek base area has been specifically designed to accelerate the learning process. Tucked away in its own corner of the mountain, a high-speed detachable quad ensures that kids spend the majority of their time on the snow, criss-crossing the network of beginner-only trails and entry-level gullies that promote the skills that will take them to the next level.
