Kirkwood's ample and diverse terrain consists of bowls, snowfields, glades, chutes, gullies, groomed runs and more. The long ridgeline is crested with miles of dramatic cliffs and cornice. A unique combination of geography and elevation bring more snow—and better snow—to these slopes, than those of any other resort in the region. Options for access include two separate base areas, as well as a cross country/snowshoe center.

Rahlves Red Bull Banzai Tour

February 8th-9th , 2014

Local, regional and national superstars converge for the Kirkwood leg of the Banzai Tour. Olympic downhiller Daron Rahlves plays creator, competitor and host in this thrilling, mass start, all-mountain race where nearly anything can happen. Skiers and snowboarders ride it out in multiple heats, competing for cash and glory.

February 27th - March 3rd, 2014

The tour returns for 2014! Watch the daredevil action from Devil’s Corral as the world’s best all-mountain skiers & Snowboarders take on the ample snow and forbidden cliffs and chutes of Kirkwood’s Cirque. This popular week-long spectator event consists of four days of adventure & one day of exciting competition, along with two built-in weather days.

Kirkwood's Legendary Banked Slalom

April 12th-13th, 2014

It’s a 20yr spring tradition; a day of camaraderie, competition and all-out fun. Skiers, boarders and snowskaters navigate the giant slalom course set within the walls of Kirkwood’s Snowsnake Gully, banking turn after turn until being spit out at the bottom for a time. Competitors ages 5 and up take two runs with awards for each category.
